237Np and 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy have been applied for the antiferromagnet NpFeGa5 (TN = 118 K). Hyperfine magnetic field Hhf at Fe nucleus of the NpFeGa5 reaches 20.0 ±0.5 kOe at 4.2 K. The existence of small quadrupole interaction at Fe sites just below TN was verified by a measurement of the spectrum in the applied field of 10 kOe. A correlation between the magnetic state and the electric field gradient implies that the origin of Hhf is not only due to the dipole field from magnetic Np atoms, but also from magnetic Fe atoms. Magnetic moment at Np atom is determined to be µNp = 0.94 µB by the 237Np Mössbauer spectrum at 10 K.
