Valence Fluctuations in an Extended Periodic Anderson Model

The electronic state in an extended periodic Anderson model is studied with the dynamical mean field theory. It is found that the valence fluctuations are enhanced by the repulsive interaction between an f-electron and a conduction electron in agreement with previous studies. However, the spin fluctuations are still more enhanced than the charge fluctuations.
