We report a resonant magnetic x-ray scattering study on the antiferromagnetic heavy-fermion superconductor UPd2Al3 in the normal state. In addition to the large signal at the U M4 edge, weak resonant features are observed the at the U M1, M2, and M3 edges which means that the p- and d-projected unoccupied states are magnetically polarized. The azimuthal angle dependence at the M4 edge is consistent with the known magnetic structure if three magnetic domains are taken into account.
