(Received October 8, 1975)

The superconducting transition temperature Tc of films of aluminium fine particles deposited by gas evaporation method was determined by measuring dc electrical resistance. The observed values of Tc were distributed from 1.5 to 2.5 K, about 5/4∼2 times of that of bulk metal, for the samples of average particle diameter 150∼50 A. The observed enhancement of Tc was not explained by the surface softening of the particles only. ©1976 The Physical Society of Japan
