De Haas-van Alphen Effect in Magnetic Material with Complicated Spin Orderings

The usual analysis of the de Haas-van Alphen effect is extended to the case in which the extremal area of the Fermi surface changes with the effective field B. It is shown that the extremal area is not obtained from the derivative of the curve in the B-1-n plane, in which n is the number of the Landau level, but given by nB.
